I love it when I film I really enjoy wins the best picture Oscar. The Artist had the odds stacked against it. A black and white, silent movie in this day and age? Most people I know haven’t seen it, much less heard of it. It stood, head and shoulders, above most movies this past year.
Haters are going to hate. This film shows us that you don’t have to have flash and bang, but substance to keep you entertained. That you don’t have to have the same actors that are in every third movie to make the story engrossing. Jean Dujardin expresses his every emotion on screen, wit the smallest of utterances.
This film is beautiful and poetic. I was entertained and amazed. I hope most of you will take the time to see this movie. When it comes out on Blu-Ray, you are more than welcome to come watch it with me, over and over.
